The KitchenIf the dropping temperatures have you feeling like a bit of a homebody this weekend, don’t fret. Food Network has the perfect programming lineup to bide your time. Whether you’re in the mood to celebrate the harvest, prepare for Halloween or get ready for Homecoming, there’s a show catered to your autumn interests. To start off the festivities, The Kitchen chefs are heading back to school for some homecoming food and fun. Also, on Farmhouse Rules, Nancy Fuller delights with recipes for Golden Biscuits, Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie, BLTAs, Neapolitan Cupcakes and Strawberry Lemonade Slushies.

If it’s drama you’re seeking, you can catch a very literal Cutthroat Kitchen episode and a rousing round of Guy’s Grocery Games. Also, Halloween Wars is still in full effect as contestants continue on their spooky quest to clench the winning title.

The Kitchen: Homecoming

Relive your school days and tailgate with The Kitchen chefs this weekend as they prepare dishes such as Texas Chili Con Carne, style up two different ramen dishes, learn how to make sweet and savory midnight munchies right in the microwave, reinvent an old college drink and do the beer bottle challenge.

Saturday 11a|10c

Farmhouse Rules: Bake Fest

Nancy is busy hosting a bake sale festival on the farm. She bakes delicious Golden Biscuits and picks strawberries at a local farm for her Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie. Avocado is the added ingredient in her BLTA, and she also serves up Neapolitan Cupcakes and Strawberry Lemonade Slushes.

Sunday 12:30|11:30c

Guy’s Grocery Games: Pasta la Vista, Baby

Guy Fieri’s not going to make it easy for the contestants: He puts pasta out of reach in the Single Aisle Showdown. In addition to that hurdle, he has the contestants try and make a barbecue feast in No Carts Allowed, and, to finish it off, the finalists are forced to make dessert in a One Ingredient Per Aisle battle.

Sunday 8|7c

Halloween Wars: Don’t Go Into the Forest

The remaining teams create creepy Halloween-themed displays that evoke a dire warning: Whatever you do, don’t go into the forest! A special guest judge, film producer Adi Shankar, will help determine which team will be eliminated.

Sunday 9|8c

Cutthroat Kitchen: Here’s Looking at You, Squid

The Cutthroat challenges are taken quite literally in this episode, as the chefs are forced to make elbow macaroni with a metal plumbing elbow, play ringtoss for rings of calamari and utilize a coffee maker to make coffeecake.
