Three words: chocolate … bar … heaven.
Cadbury — perhaps still reeling from the great Cadbury Crème Egg brouhaha of 2015 — has just made an admirable attempt to turn its fans’ frowns upside down by issuing the Cadbury Dairy Milk Spectacular 7, a limited-edition product that somehow combines seven different kinds of Cadbury confections into a single brilliant bar.
Designed by food artist Prudence Staite, the dramatic Cadbury creation features seven rows, each a different Cadbury-bar variety. You’ve got your Caramel, your Fruit & Nut, your Turkish Delight, Whole Nut, Oreo, Daim and original Cadbury Dairy Milk — all in one bar.
Alas, the bespoke bars are an extremely limited edition: Cadbury is cranking out only 50 of them, according to CNBC — to be made available not in stores, but via an online competition for those who monitor Cadbury U.K.’s Twitter page and follow specific directions.
But there’s worse news still: The competition is open only to U.K. residents. U.S. chocolate lovers will have to look on longingly and dream.
Why, Cadbury, why?
