The national parks are an American treasure. On Aug. 25, the National Park Service — which manages and preserves the country’s 412 national park areas — will celebrate its centennial. In addition to its preservation efforts, the organization maintains myriad on-site dining options that keep campers, hikers and first-time explorers fueled for the day.
Thankfully, the dining options are just as diverse as the parks’ many visitors. On-site and off-site, you’ll find restaurants carrying a wide variety of cuisines, including vegan, Italian fusion, American fine dining and, of course, barbecue. If you prefer being closer to nature, take your food options outside for a picnic.
Food Network editors took into consideration both campers and glampers and found dining options that will appeal to anyone’s taste buds. Find the park that best suits your appetite here!
